📖 How It Works
Your photos stay private — every step happens right in your browser.
Choose Mode
Select the preset that matches what you're doing. Each preset applies the right protection automatically:
📱 Social Media
Blur faces, remove GPS location, keep addresses/text visible.
🛒 Selling / Marketplace
Hide phone numbers, addresses, postcodes & GPS. Keep faces visible.
👨👩👧👦 Private / Family
Maximum protection — blur all faces, redact contact info, strip everything.
⚙️ Custom
Pick exactly what gets protected — faces, phones, addresses, metadata, dates.
Upload Photo
Drag your photos onto the upload zone or click to browse. You can select multiple photos at once.
🔒 Important
Your photos never upload to any server. Everything — scanning, detecting, cleaning — happens locally in your browser. Your images stay on your device, always.
Scan & Clean
Click "Scan Photo" or "Scan All" — PostSafe will:
- ✓Detect faces, phone numbers, addresses, and hidden GPS/location data
- ✓Strip EXIF metadata — camera info, timestamps, GPS coordinates
- ✓Show you exactly what was removed in the green metadata panel
- ✓Apply blurring/pixelation/redaction to sensitive areas
Use the slider to compare the original photo vs the cleaned version. Switch between Blur / Pixelate / Black Box styles. You can also manually draw over anything the scanner missed.
Download & Share
Once you've reviewed the cleaned photo and everything looks safe:
- 💾Click "This Photo" to download the cleaned image individually
- 💾Click "Download All (.zip)" to get every cleaned photo in one zip file
- 📤Share anywhere — social media, marketplaces, messaging apps
⚠️ Final Check
AI helps, but it's not perfect. Always give your photo a quick look before you post. If something needs extra protection, use Manual Redact.
